- He's not married.
- He was born in Sunderland, England but moved to Edmonton, Alberta with his family when he was four.
- He has one older brother, and one younger brother. Both have children. His parents are separated.
- When he was in college he had his hair in a mohawk and got his "ass kicked by a lot of folks who didn't get it". He also listened to punk music including the Viletones, D.O.A. and the Diodes.
- While living in Edmonton, he appeared in local theater productions, and at the Shaw Theater Festival.
- His nickname is "the bodyhammer". Some sources say it was given to him by one of his brothers, while others say it was given by his friend, and Hard Core Logo co-star, Hugh Dillon. But no one knows what it means!
- He has a Bull Terrier that he named Alberta, after the province he is from, and a cat named Cleek, a kind of golf club and a nod to his favourite new sport.
- One of his classmates and friends in High School was Bruce McCullough from The Kids in the Hall.
- He received a $5,000 student loan to attend college but used the money to buy a truck and go fishing for a couple of months instead.
- He loves art, and the works of Basquiat, Motherwell, and Pollock. He has sold a number of his own collages and said that painting puts him into an "alpha state" where he makes all the decisions and never has to deal with the outside world.
- The tattoo on his right bicep is of the Champion Spark logo, which is in homage to the American painter Stuart Davis. Here is one of the paintings in the Champion series by Davis. It is entitled "Visa". The writing on the right says "the amazing continuity".
- During his drinking period, he lived for nearly two years with actress Babz Chula, whom he'd met at a Starbucks in Vancouver. "Can you please pass the sugar, sugar?" Well he probably didn't say THAT, but it'd work for me!
- In the summer of 1993, he went into a rough Vancouver bar, and ticked off a construction worker by flipping him the bird. The construction worker then punched his fist through a plate glass window, and a shard of glass angled into Callum's left eye and retina. Geez, some people can be so touchy.
- His past jobs include: tree planter, paper baler, bartender, laying railroad tracks, working in restaurants and nightclubs, including the Anza Club and Graceland in Vancouver.
- He wanted to be a rock climber when he was younger. He is also a semi-vegetarian and likes carrot juice(yuck). So is he healthy? Well, he does drink a lot of coffee and he also smokes. But he looks healthy to me!
- He likes to do his own stunts.
